TGR Status Update

Hi everyone!

It’s been a while since I’ve last posted and I know many of you are waiting for me to release more chapters. I would like to inform all of you that it’s unlikely that I will be able to translate/post any chapters until late March/early April. Unlike my batchmates, who are only working on one engagement, I’m basically helping out three engagements at the same. I’m basically working 7 days a week (8:30 am to 1-3 am each day). Hell, I’m barely getting sleep! In the meantime, I hope that all of you will enjoy the rest of the wuxiaworld’s novels as I finish off my busy season at work. Please DO NOT donate any money to me until I finally manage to translate again.

Hope that all of you understand and I apologize for posting this status update so late.

P.S. There is still one chapter stuck in PR, I was busy and forgot to chase my proofreaders for it. Will post it as soon as it’s ready.

  1. thx for update, funny fact i was just reading about it in the forum lol, good to know you are still living and keep your self strong and healthy please!

  2. no worries, should have posted this in the anouncements so it wouldn’t get us all hot and bothered over a new chapter though! be safe and don’t burn out!

  3. It’s always a shame if we can’t get chapters. But life comes first, finish whatever you have going on. Don’t forget to take care of yourself.

  4. Work like that… *sigh*
I wonder if I would have survived even a week, let alone doing translation on the side…
Do what you need to do to pull through, and come back stronger when you’re done. 🙂

  5. stop translating or stop one of your works, you should rest dude so much work is bad for your healt… after some time you wont be able to work… unless you love to work very much then you should ignore this 😛

  6. Not a bad place the end off honestly for a break though, sure there’s the minor cliffhanger in last chapter but every chapter practically has one anyways, plus its pretty much the end of the arc and not halfway through an arc with tons of stuff happening with drama and suspense.

  7. Welp, we can’t do anything just wait… 🙂 And I’m enjoying re-reading the novels like PW…. Even though, just maybe, translate a bit by bit when you have a free time then go with a major updates…Like a surprise, maybe… (ugh, i think, i’m being selfish -__-)

  8. Hey Jn, thanks for posting a status update for us. Spend your time with your work, that’s more important than translating for us leechers. We understand.
But, we’ll also all still be here for when you’re done and can start translating again. Best of luck!

  9. Given that that’s your situation — would it help at all to potentially recruit other translators to help out, maybe Ren can put out the call? Based on your commute/job it seems like translating is a burden on top of an already burn out situation.

  10. jiayou! work hard, retire early and translate =p
If someone asks you “What do you look forward to do when you retire?”, your answer must be ” I cant wait to translate novels for all the unfortunate leachers”.

  11. um sorry to say but you shouled drop it if it’s ur health and life or this translation got on too much presure don’t do it .life first translation last hope you do good job and have fun man.
