Sovereign of the Three Realms (三界独尊)

Written by Plow Days (犁天)

Synopsis: Jiang Chen, son of the Heavenly Emperor, unexpectedly reincarnated into the body of a despised young noble, thus embarking on the path of the underdog trouncing all comers. No one has the right to call himself a genius in front of Jiang Chen, as no one has a better understanding of the heavens than the son of the Heavenly Emperor. Genius? He who adheres to me shall ascend, those who oppose me can find solace in hell!

Custom TL synopsis: Sentenced to death because of farting in the first chapter. ’nuff said.

      1. You miss out on all the comments though at the end of the chaps when you do that (as I learned to my distress having recently picked it up from where i left off), which believe it or not are actually more than a mindless copy paste job!

Woo! Go the community around this novel! (I blame the translator!)

  1. wth only 87 chapters :O 🙁 This is so much better than TDG or ATG or DE… Likable MC, women who aren’t one dimensional, strong plot, author isn’t throwing naive stupid women at the MC… wish I could read the entirety of this novel. I’m so sad.

    1. you can try out another novel for the mean time (like true martial world – it as 2 chapters a day 😀 (regular) and also some bonus chapters ^^ the beginning is about, how you can get OP just by picking herbs xD (at least it seems that way for the others)
      – also reincarnation that happened + some special item that is the most OP item in that universe so it seems.

  2. I highly recomment this novel , if you like a bit of politics between nobles with wars and some cultivation this is one that stands out from the more generic of them from this site , its a bit different from the others but in a good way !

  3. Hi,

I’m planning to create an epub for this, arc by arc. Would you object to me sharing it?

It’ll have a link to the TL site, of course, and accredit the TLers/editors.

    1. Hi Mort, sorry for the slow response! I don’t mind, as long as credits are properly given and links to WW and Qidian as well! 😀

  4. You need to seriously update the index. It says it is on chapter 116, but it actually goes up to chapter 126.

Oh, and thank you for the hard work 🙂

      1. I know the feeling, updating index after every release seem like a hassle but then you stall it for too long and then its like a hassle to update so much at once =X Wish we can have auto indexing lol =X

    1. It’s a matter of preference. Personally, I think this one is one of the best novels on the site, and like it more than ATG and TDG (I have yet to read DE). Of course, everyone has their own individual opinion, and comments about the quality of these novels should be taken as opinions and not statements of fact (because they’re almost entirely subjective).

  5. Ok not to sound offensive but i hope that in the future u will wait with posting new chapters that has not been edited, as most people i want more chapters and pretty fast, but i also want quality so i have the patience to wait for a good read so dont post those unedited chapters. Wuxiaworld has always been about quality, and its only you who have been posting unedited chapters, i hope u refrain from doiing in the future even if some ppl complain, most of us can wait and have a good read, also dont post chapters without explaining that u have not edited it cause as a reader u always find some wrongs, ok im not out to hunt only u, sometimes other translator also post chapters that have not been 100% edited but thats cause of some circumstances. anyways i hope u only post edited chapters in the future, but if u do post unedited chapters please say so we readers dont read something only to see a couple hours later there was a edited chapter, we like quality more than quantiy here on wuxiaworld. Also im glad u introduce me to this novel and hope u continue until the end, dont let those negative posts effect u, what doesnt kill u only make u stronger, also remember most readers here love the work so dont take those negative posts so much to heart and ihope u can atleast take some critics cause that can make u a better translator!

Written by: Your Lao Ye, Xie Xie, Wo de meimei!

PS: i think the translator was female, hope im not wrong!

    1. I’m a mantou and I find this offensive. Jks. The only reason etvo releases unedited chapters is so that we readers can read the chapter earlier and also so the f5 sect don’t complain. The quality of the chapter was already pretty good anyways so idk why are you complaining, the chapter was probably better than some edited works so…. I think it’s only you and maybe a few people who actually think faster chapters with pretty good quality < chapters that take an extra day due to editors staying up all night and are too sleepy to edit or irl problems.

    2. First off, if you’re going to complain about Etvolare’s quality when she makes an announcement of it being unedited, you yourself should use proper English. If it’s a foreign language to you, that’s fine, but using u and not even bothering to capitalise I leaves you with out a leg to stand on. Etvo’s quality on an “unedited” chapter is heads and shoulders above some other people’s “edited” ones. Yes, there are mistakes that slip through sometimes, even on edited chapters. The folks in translator groups are grateful for the help in spotting mistakes so they can correct it or be on the lookout for it later. Also, Etvo does share on the announcements that a chapter is unedited, if you bothered to read them. If you’re going to post a large paragraph criticising a translator, don’t be so condescending as to say ” Also im glad u introduce me to this novel and hope u continue until the end, dont let those negative posts effect u, what doesnt kill u only make u stronger, also remember most readers here love the work so dont take those negative posts so much to heart and ihope u can atleast take some critics cause that can make u a better translator!”

    3. Long term lurker who registered just to post a comment. Gratz, you got that going for you. The sense of entitlement that’s really sprung up in the community lately sickens me, and this comment really takes the cake. A lot of leechers act like they have the right to demand translators to spend 6 hours a day translating (which seems to be the average for two chapters a day), cry like babies when a translator doesn’t make a flood of 50 chapters for a mass release (etvo you got cut up about the comments for your last one didn’t you?), or idiotic comments about quality when the comment itself looks like it was written by someone who flunked out of English.

I knew I had to respond to this because etvo seems to be the type who bends over backwards to interact with readers and gets cut up about stupid comments like these. She needs to know that not all her readers are as asinine as you. You can obviously read her announcement posts saying when an edited chapter has been reuploaded, you just can’t seem to read when she says, also in an announcement post, that a chapter has been posted unedited. Which brings me to the heart of this.

You’re basically saying she’s shittier than the rest of WW and bringing down the average. How DARE you say this to ANY translator, PARTICULARLY WHEN IT’S NOT TRUE. Have you read her unedited chapters? Compared them to the edited? I have. Parts of sentences got rearranged, a word change here or there, and I was so bored looking for differences and not finding major ones that I never did that exercise again. Her own quality is DAMN GOOD (possibly one of the best on the translating scene) and anyone who says otherwise wouldn’t recognize Mt. Tai if the damn mountain went and sat on them.

etvo, I know you’re reading this. You probably read all comments 3x after a precious snowflake had their feelings hurt. I appreciate your time, effort, and quality, especially when all of this is being done not on a salary. You also need to grow a thicker skin, this is the internet. C’mon. You also need a break to stockpile or more reliable editors. You have a million editors don’t you? Why are unedited chapters still necessary?

    4. I did not read everything … sorry, if I repeat something.
I just wanted to make it short:

If they are unedited, just wait until they are edited 🙂 Problem solved 🙂 (they are mentioned as unedited)

-The rerise of the Aureate Sect xD

    5. If you can’t even spare the time and effort to make your 255 word comment readable, it’s extremely hypocritical of you to criticize someone who posts a >2000 word long chapter every day that barely has any grammatical errors. Even when unedited, her English is several orders of magnitude better than yours; I can’t read your comment without getting a bit of a headache. (Regardless of whether or not you can write better than you are demonstrating, it’s quite telling that you don’t even try.) I hope you’re a troll, because you’re being very unreasonable. Even unedited, her translations are some of the best on this site.

  6. So I’m on chapter 48 hoping the written choreography gets better. As it is now? Garbage. It’s not simply anti climactic as much as it is mentally impossible to picture in my mind wtf is going on. It feels like many steps inbetween moments are left out.

Guy 1: Does awesome signature move glowing awesomely
Guy 2: Raises his arm at guy 1 and pokes
Guy 1 is hit! Hit again! Then on his shoulder again! HERPA DERPA!!!!
    Guy 2 victory!

    Wtf is this?

  7. Well, I’ve been looking for something to kill my time. But this novel ? It has completely taken my heart.
The plot is amazing, it is not boring, the action comes always in the right moments.
The main character ? he’s awesome. Always playing cocky, because he has the means to be that way.
Author isn’t throwing unneeded chicks at him, it’s more real that way.
Four words : I JUST LOVE IT

  8. So i was reading this until the latest chapter and i really like it. and actually moved to listening the raw using a translation app. So I cant read chinese but i understand it. and can translate it with own words that isnt google. but when im trying to say is that, i’d like to help translate. im currently at around chapter 625

  9. A lurker has registered!!

You probably won’t hear anything from me again. So i’ma say this once!!

I hope you keep up the great work!
    Love you! God bless!
I wish you always stay in good health cause your AWESOME!

  10. Translator is legitimately butchering the translation of segments in a lot of the chapters, and getting the translations wrong to a horrendous degree. Don’t get me wrong, the translation reads pretty well most of the time and the main idea is conveyed. Even the mistakes sometimes read good — but the problem is that, that isn’t what the author actually wrote. This happens at least once every 2 chapters, if not twice in a single chapter, where something would read extremely out of place, and I would either have no idea at what is trying to be said at all, or the translation would contradict statements made in earlier chapters. Eventual validation with the raws would then prove that the translation just went off in a completely different direction like a headless chicken.

This is a problem because you are misleading readers, intentionally or not.

etvolare also has a weird tendency of translating surnames into English, but retain given names in Chinese, resulting in an antagonist being called “Iron Can” which is just plain silly. Grammar mistakes are also all over the place in certain chapters, but that doesn’t significantly affect the enjoyment of the novel, so it’s not that big of a big deal. However, a translation checker goes a long long way and seems to be lacking at the moment.

    1. Ouch, that’s quite a scathing criticism. I’m very happy for you to point out where segments have gone off in a “completely different direction like a headless chicken”. I fully admit there are typos, especially as I’m getting chapters out lately before editors can work their magic, but there really shouldn’t be translation errors like you’ve mentioned. I take a lot of care to convey precisely what the author meant, to the obvious sad detriment of grammar at times. >< This is the first time I’ve received such a comment from any of my readers. So please, let's look at the sections you find fault with and see what's going on.

In addition, I have explained multiple times that it's my policy to translate names when possible, to add to the overall reading experience. The Eastern family maps very well to the Eastern Kingdom. Otherwise, it would've been Dongfang family. Likewise for Thousandleaf — Precious Tree Sect, Ninelion — Myriad Spirit Sect and their focus on spirit creatures. They would've been Qianye and Jiushi otherwise. I opted for the "Iron" surname because it showed how thickheaded and stubborn all members of that family were, with the exception of Iron Long. It also gave rise to a lot of puns about "Tin Can", which I thought readers were genius in coming up with.

  11. I’ve been reading this since mid 2016 and I’ve never quit reading since. Tho, I might stop for awhile to have its chapters filed up. Love how grudges were dealt and how unyielding the MC in obtaining his goals. Looking forward for greater chapters! 🙂

To etvolare and friends: Great work!

  12. I’m looking forward to read this novel. Although I saw a lot of bad reviews on another website, there is also a fairly amount of good reviews too. Plus, everyone’s preferences are different. c:

  13. Hi etvolare, new person here! I actually made an account just so I could comment on how much I love this series. I binge read the whole entire chapters between classes and in my free time, so it’s sad that I’ve actually caught up with the chapters. I love how much the main character will not just take shit from anyone and how strong his mentality is, I look forward to how much he sweeps out his enemies and finally accomplish his goal. Thank you for the hard work and for translating this novel, it’s thanks to you that I could actually read a good long story and enjoy it. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to more updates! 🙂
