Hey guys, this issue was brought to my attention by one of our translators. In short, Paypal has recently been having an issue where some transactions (donations, in our case) are not being covered or furnished with details/notification emails to the recipient (ie the translators). We’ve called in to ask, and this is apparently a global issue that they are trying to fix in the next 2-3 days.
So donors, if you see your favorite translator updating the queue but not crediting you, it might just be due to this issue, so consider sending your translator a gentle email reminder with the forwarded Paypal confirmation email to get it fixed! And translators, for the next few days, we should all keep a closer eye on the actual Paypal account, rather than just rely on the email notifications (which is what I used to do, I admit!).
