ISSTH Chapter 263 + The Chronicles of Baby Deathblade

As if being a foreigner weren’t enough to attract attention in China, add in a cute Dao Child like BD and we become like a powerful magnet that attracts the glittering eyes of the local populace. Include a car seat and the looks of confusion and shock are even greater. Why? Because infant car seats basically don’t exist in China. The main comments are things like, “what’s that?” “isn’t it uncomfortable for his neck?” and “hahahaha!” Anyway, safety first for BD, no matter how strange it might seem to everyone else.

    1. I’m surprised it’s not common elsewhere while its not common in my own country >.<
I guess I'm used with higher standards from what I gather in the net, but yeah, the "common" sense is different from one location to another, even in safety standards,

    2. I doubt it’s common in most of the developing world. Car seats cost a few hundred dollars here. That’s probably a years salary for most people who live in the 3rd world.

      1. what! a few hundreds?? Do the materials really cost that much making the seat? or are they exploiting the fact that you’ll do anything to protect your baby?? I’m guessing it’s (mostly) the second one… and I’m guessing vaccines for babies are also sky-high 🙁

  1. Thanks!

As expected from BD, barely a couple of days old and already threading on a path not many dare to travel. Let them laugh, for the day he translates 3 chapters/day will come, and then, they shall all kneel!

    1. Basically, in USA, we have no choice but to get car seats for infants/children because of state laws in the US or else we will get ticketed for not having car seat.

      1. i see. so thats how china handles there over population issue huh?

but seriously, until it’s proven that the ‘asian driver’ stereotype is untrue, keep the babyseat no matter how stupid it may seem, the idiots.

  2. Taking a trip to the village, it was normal for villagers to admire the elite sect, but today their eyes couldn’t look away. Sitting in his throne, the young master wasn’t like anything they seen in the mortal world. The air seem to flutter a bit in his wake, but it did nothing to shake his strength of his presence. Then the earth shook a bit, and the villagers moved away while slightly bowing their heads, allowing the DeathBlade sect to go through.

~ Thanks for the chapter and sharing cute stories of BD.
