FRESH Skyfire Avenue Release – Chapter 82

Four of the Seven Archangels from the Pontiff’s Castle have arrived in search of the Stygian Succubus. Much like GladOS warned, the cake was a lie… but in this case, it was nearly everything Lan Jue had experienced in the past months. The stone, Gao Yong, his visit to the Empress, this conflict with Purgatory – all lies, carefully designed to draw him and his charges in to their trap.

It’s four against four. Will they have what it takes to survive the best the Pontiff’s Castle has to offer? What follows is an epic showdown of ideologies, as powerhouses of the universe collide.

Chapter 82: Ascension is where it begins. But where will it end?

Also hit the jump for an important announcement concerning sponsored chapters for SA!

In addition to this exciting development in our story, I am also prepared to announce a new preliminary system of sponsored chapters. I will maintain my promised five regular chapters per week, but on top of that I will make time for two extra sponsored chapters per week, for a total of seven. For each donation goal of sixty dollars, one chapter will be made available.

At present the number of sponsored chapters per week will be two because I want to ensure I can produce  to meet demand. Most important is that I provide you, the readers, with reliable content updates. In the future the situation may be subject to change as my skill improves, time allows, and other extenuating circumstances make themselves known.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you’re enjoying the story as much as I’m enjoying translating it!

  1. It’s good to see translators not trying to bite more than they can chew.

I mean, a lot of us would not mind more chapters, obviously, but it’s better to have translators translate at a pace they are comfortable with in the long run, rather than having a lot of chapters, and later on a long break or a full stop.

All the more since the novel is good, and the translation feels natural to read.

And because I usually end up not commenting, let me say a big thank you for all those hours you put into translating this story, allowing all of us to enjoy it too.
