Book 11, Necropolis of the Gods – Chapter 37, Divine Spark

The metallic ground flashed with cold light. Countless Abyssal Blade Demons knelt on that ground respectfully in terror, while in mid-air, their leader, the red Abyssal Blade Demon, respectfully led Linley, and the two transformed into rays of light towards the direction of the divine spark.

There were, in total, three Necropolis of the Gods which were connected to the Yulan continent.

This Necropolis of the Gods connected to the underground tunnel at the bottom of the South Sea was the most dangerous one and the largest one. On this eleventh floor of the Necropolis of the Gods, ever since it had been constructed, not a single Saint-level expert had been successful in acquiring the treasures hidden within the floor. Linley was the first!

The wind blew, stirring Linley’s long hair.

Linley was already back in human form, casually draping a long robe over his body. The wind rustled through it, occasionally revealing his bare chest.

“After having gained insight into the Profound Truths of Velocity, whether or not I Dragonform no longer makes much of a difference.” Linley was wielding Bloodviolet in his hands. Bloodviolet’s ‘Dimensional Decapitator’ ability could be described as a ‘miniature Dimensional Edge’. Any Saints who touched it would die.

The red Abyssal Blade Demon led the way nervously.

Suddenly, the red Abyssal Blade Demon halted.

“Are we there?” Linley asked.

The red Abyssal Blade Demon pointed off into the distance and said respectfully, “Lord, the treasure of the eleventh floor of the Necropolis of the Gods is atop the mountain peak over there.”

Linley gazed in the direction of the Abyssal Blade Demon’s finger. Off in the distance, there was indeed a small metallic mountain, but this mountain was covered with a large number of Abyssal Blade Demons, and even in the air above it, there were many Abyssal Blade Demons hovering.

“Hrm, what’s this?” Linley frowned.

Terrified, the red Abyssal Blade Demon hastened to explain. “Lord, in the past, we were afraid that intruders would run wild and arrive here. Therefore, we arranged several tens of thousands of Abyssal Blade Demons to be stationed here and watch over this important treasury location.”

“It seems you were quite thorough.” Linley laughed calmly.

The red Abyssal Blade Demon said hurriedly, “Lord, don’t worry. I’ll immediately order them to stand down.” As he spoke, the red Abyssal Blade Demon immediately flew towards that mountain.

On the third level of the Necropolis of the Gods.

A cold wind was blowing. Aside from a few corpses of Saints, the only one remaining here was the still-slumbering Ba-Serpent. “Whooosh!” “Hiss!” …. Each time the Ba-Serpent exhaled, that black energy came out. The only sound in the third floor was that familiar snoring.

All of a sudden, the Ba-Serpent’s enormous body, wrapped around that giant iceberg, suddenly vanished.

“Unexpectedly, a human succeeded?” A devilish young man a slender body and devilish, flowing green hair stood there in mid-air. He wore a patterned blue robe over his body, and the patterns on the blue robe, on close inspection, appeared to be those of a snake’s skin.

“He succeeded. That means I’m more or less free as well. There’s no need for me to remain here on these eleven floors any longer.” He revealed a smile on his face. “Unfortunately, I still have to wait for Lord Beirut to come over. I’ll have to at least wait for a few more months. After having been here for so long though, a few more days won’t matter.”

A large number of Abyssal Blade Demons were beating a hasty retreat, allowing Linley to fly to the peak of the mountain.

“Whoosh.” A heart-stopping aura surged towards him. Linley’s eyes lit up, and he stared carefully at that mountain peak. There was a heap of precious treasures placed atop the flat, enormous stone on top of the mountain. The most attractive of them, however, was naturally those three divine sparks, which emanated a divine aura.

Aside from the three divine sparks, the enormous flat stone also had a series of divine artifacts. Ten of them!

“Three divine sparks, ten divine artifacts! The almighty Sovereign is truly quite generous.” Linley felt his heart rate speed up. After all, countless Saints had dreamed about acquiring just a single divine spark, but now, three of them were placed in front of him.

Not worrying about anything else, Linley immediately walked over to the flat boulder to carefully inspect those three divine sparks.

Those three divine sparks were the same color. All of them were black. Only, within the hearts of the three divine sparks, two of them emanated a faint light; one of them emanated a faint blue light, while the other one emanated an earthen yellow light. As for the last one, it didn’t emanate any light at all. Instead, it had a strange, hidden aura emanating forth from it.

“One is earth-style, while the other is wind-style. The last one is Destruction-style.” Linley frowned. “And the divine sparks here on the eleventh floor should all be Demigod sparks.”

“What is going on?” Linley’s heart was filled with suspicion.

“Could it be that the controller of this Necropolis of the Gods knew that the person acquiring the treasures would be someone who trained in the profound truths of these two Elemental Laws of the Wind and the Earth?” Linley knew very well that this destruction-style divine spark actually belonged to the ‘Way of Destruction’.

Linley, being a practitioner of the sword, could also train in this Way.

“Three divine sparks, and I’m capable of using any of them. How could there be such a coincidence? Precisely three of them!” Linley stared at the three divine sparks in front of him, a strong sense of suspicion in his mind.

Linley turned his head and stared around him.

He suddenly had a feeling as though everything going on in the Necropolis of the Gods was being watched by the Sovereign from on high.

“Perhaps…” Linley looked at the three divine sparks. “These three divine sparks were only placed here after I gained insight into the ‘Profound Truths of Velocity’. Perhaps an ultimate expert stealthily placed them here afterwards.” Linley couldn’t help but suspect this. After all, this was simply too great a coincidence.

Exactly three divine sparks?

Why weren’t they lightning-style, or light-style, or fire-style? They all suited Linley’s nature and elements.

“I should feel proud to have been looked after by this sort of ultimate expert.” Linley self-mocked silently. Linley no longer pondered this question. No matter what, he was currently just a person who had only reached the doorstep to becoming a Deity, and was only a Prime Saint, not yet a god.

There were many secrets and mysteries which he was not yet qualified to be a part of yet.

“I can already dimly sense the Deity-level. Most likely, once I go back and train, in a few dozen years, I will reach the Deity-level.” Linley, after becoming aware of the ‘Profound Truths of Velocity’, could already faintly sense his current level of understanding.

Linley had heard the War God speak of this before as well.

Becoming a Deity by one’s self was hundreds of times more difficult than fusing a divine spark. Linley stretched out his hand, immediately grasping those three divine sparks, then drawing them into his interspatial ring. “Even if I personally don’t use these three divine sparks, I can give them to Delia and Wharton to use.”

Given Delia and Wharton’s levels of talent, it would be extremely difficult for them to become Deities on their own.

Just by looking at how Fain and Desri had been stuck at the doorway to Deity-hood for thousands of years, one could imagine how hard it was.

Linley himself was fortunate enough that after developing the ‘Tempos of the Wind’, he encountered the Queen Mother’s attack and by mimicking it, developed the ‘Myriad Swords Converge’. Afterwards, due to reaching the Grand Magus Saint level, he was able to clearly sense the mysteries hidden within the ‘Dimensional Edge’.

With this chain of three events…

In addition, Linley only had some insights in the ‘Fast’ and ‘Slow’, and they weren’t at a very high level yet.

In terms of power, the ‘Profound Truths of Velocity’ were actually a level higher than the ‘Profound Truths of the Earth’. The ‘Profound Truths of Velocity’ could be said to be one of the highest, most profound mysteries of the Elemental Laws of the Wind.

“I wonder how Delia, Taylor, Sasha, and Wharton are doing.” Linley couldn’t help but think of his family. “And I don’t know how Barker…” Linley, in his heart, was still worried about whether Barker was alive or not.

Linley sighed in his heart.

And then, Linley looked at the ten divine artifacts. These ten divine artifacts included saber, sword, and spear-type weapons, a black book, a mysterious crystal ball, and…a set of battle-armor. Deity-level battle armor.

“Battle armor?” Linley felt joy in his heart.

Linley didn’t care too much about the other divine artifacts; after all, he already had the adamantine heavy sword and Bloodviolet. The black book and crystal ball were most likely darkness-style or Necromantic-style divine artifacts. Linley wouldn’t be able to use them well.

Linley immediately stored these ten divine artifacts into his interspatial ring.

“These divine artifacts would be useful as gifts to Delia, Taylor, Sasha, and the others.” Linley laughed as he stared around the mountain peak. “It seems there aren’t any other treasures here. Oh, right…this.” Linley stared at the flat boulder where the divine artifacts had been stored.

“A rich person certainly behaves generously. Even this boulder used to hold these divine artifacts is a treasure.” Linley stored the giant boulder into his interspatial ring as well.

This enormous flat boulder was actually something he had read about in the books. ‘Bloodstone’.

Bloodstones were almost as valuable as adamantine ore. It was a type of treasure from other planes. Whether made into magus tools or weapons, it was an extremely good type of material. If one used materials such as bloodstones and adamantine to forge a weapon, one could make a divine artifact.

Linley’s adamantine heavy sword, although a good weapon, wasn’t actually a divine artifact.

With a smile, Linley descended from the air, flying away from the mountain.

The distant red Abyssal Blade Demon waited nervously. Linley hadn’t ordered him to leave, so he didn’t dare to leave on his own, for fear that Linley would kill him in anger.

“Congratulations, Lord.” The red Abyssal Blade Demon, seeing Linley fly over, immediately said respectfully.

Linley glanced at the red Abyssal Blade Demon, then noticed that blood-red blade on its back. Reaching out with his hand, Linley pointed to the warblade on the red Abyssal Blade Demon’s back. “Right. Your blade, as well as the warblades from the other two red Abyssal Blade Demons. Bring them to me.”

“Huh?” The red Abyssal Blade Demon stared at Linley in shock.

“Didn’t you hear me?” Linley frowned.

“Lord, this…this warblade was naturally created from my body. It took me hundreds of thousands of years. This…” The red Abyssal Blade Demon was somewhat unwilling.

These Abyssal Blade Demons were made of blades, but the most powerful blade was the one on their backs. That was the place where their essence was concentrated, and that blade was incomparably hard and powerful. Originally, when Linley’s group had encountered that ordinary Abyssal Blade Demon on the tenth floor, the sharpness of its blade was already approaching that of a divine artifact.

The blades of the red Abyssal Blade Demons were definitely at the divine artifact level.

After developing the ‘Dimensional Decapitator’ and slaughtering the Abyssal Blade Demons, he had discovered…that his Dimensional Decapitator was completely unable to damage the warblades of the Abyssal Blade Demons. One could imagine how sharp and tough they were.

“Hrm?” Linley frowned, staring coldly at the red Abyssal Blade Demon.

Life or blade. Which one was more important? This question didn’t need to be asked.

“Right, Lord. I’ll immediately send people to obtain the other two warblades.” The red Abyssal Blade Demon, terrified, immediately pulled out the blade from his back, respectfully offering it to Linley.”

“Right. Bring me a thousand warblades from the ordinary Abyssal Blade Demons as well.” Linley said casually.

Although the red Abyssal Blade Demon was astonished, he didn’t dare to say anything. After all, Linley had killed a hundred thousand Abyssal Blade Demons. A thousand warblades wasn’t much. Only, he secretly said to himself, this expert in front of him was perhaps a bit too…a bit too ‘that’. He was already so powerful, but he still wanted so many warblades.

“Although I don’t need it, I can give it to the descendants of the clan.” Linley said to himself secretly.

Even the warblades of ordinary Abyssal Blade Demons were comparable to the adamantine heavy blade in preciousness. This sort of warblade would definitely be considered an extremely valuable weapon on the Yulan continent.

“Unfortunately, my interspatial ring isn’t big enough.” Linley secretly said to himself.

If it was larger, Linley would perhaps take even more, but a thousand warblades was already enough.

After storing the thousand warblades and the three red warblades into his interspatial ring, with countless Abyssal Blade Demons kneeling towards him, Linley returned to the tenth exit.

      1. yeah! maybe that expert cat whatever can give him insight to next level of wind style he knows that by concentrating the vibrations of earth into one will let him be a demigod also wonder what will happen if he fuses wind path and earth path after all oliver managed to fuse light and darkness

        1. I don’t think that is likely since it was implied that olivier’s soul is somewhat unique

Also here’s a quick question now that he has that chunk of bloodstone I wonder if bladeless is going to get reforged?

          1. actually i tried posting about this earlier when caladblog was talking about the admantine sword but the site said i was posting too fast Q.Q
i was actually wondering if he would melt bladeless back down mix with bloodstone and perhaps use the destruction spark to get perfect fusion.
since his soul is now sword shaped, maybe if he himself forges it himself (time to lvl up your fire skills linley) he can infuse it with his own aura kinda like bloodviolet has an aura of its previous owner.

          2. Well this isn’t Stellar Transformation so I don’t think Linley will be able to achieve the skills needed to reforge the sword anytime soon. Maybe he’ll have the VioletFlame guys reforge it for him?

  1. I suddenly remembered something……, there may be some friends of doehring cowart’s who are alive right now! right??? well he said he knew cesar before! so….. how come linley didn’t mention his name to any old saints so far!!! as the story mentioned it before cowart is a famous powerful grand magus back in the day.
so least some of the old folks are ought to hear the name before, right?!!!

and as I remember it, grandpa mentioned some friend of his, who resembles linley.
a cold fellow whose a sword saint or something! I wonder who that is??? can’t be fain right??!!!! hmmm….. I wish if someone remembers grandpa! It’s like IET’s totally forgotten about him!

        1. he can just ask bebe for help (asking grandpa beirut). no doubt that he (beirut) would know about doehring. might even know about the ring already. didn’t he able to scan memories of saint without them even knowing

          1. yeah…… but after what serpent said, I feel like beirut is some kind of a hidden super villain of the story or something! well you see, if he already knew how to get rid of serpent (since it called him lord) why did he purposely sent saints in to it’s mouth! (it’s like giving the serpent night time snack)
anyway I feel like beirut wants to get rid of linley! dunno why but i think it maybe for bebe’s sake (for his freedom)!!!
and I don’t think he knows about CD ring! if he did he would have taken it from linley long ago (since it’s some kind of god level artifact)
as it mentioned in early parts of the story, saints deities do not care about mortal wars, money, political power and such but what they do care about is increasing personal levels and divine artifacts!!! so…. considering CD ring is some kind of high level artifact, of course he would want it for himself (I think)!!

          2. @Yusu: we are speaking about a being that fathered a race that practise infamily genocides to get rid of weaklings.

He might not have any malice in throwing Linley of a cliff, for him, it might be that if Linley dies from this, he just wasn’t strong enough to be a friend of his grandson.

          3. well then he’s being too picky! considering linley’s age it’s absurd to expect so much from human, he is not a godeater rat!!! (even if he is a dragon blood warrior)

          4. i kind of agree. IET’s character, whether MC or sides, doesn’t have much compassion, the stronger they are, the lesser they have. it has been shown again and again. and almost all of them thinks strength justifies arrogance, even after living for several thousand years. perhaps because they spent like 99% of their time in seclusion/training, so even a 1000 years old combatant would actually spent time around people less than a normal teenager would.

        2. The problem with that is that he might be totally unknown. While storywise it might be possible that they knew him, if we just analyse what we’ve got there really isn’t much of a possibility.

First and foremost, he lived before the dragon warriors ever came to the yulan continent. This means that most saints that are still alive today and are younger than that won’t have the possibility of knowing him at all.
In a sense, we only have around 20 people or so that could have known him. First the deities, the prime saints and then saints that have lived a long time (perhaps those three rats).
That isn’t a whole lot, furthermore, just another prime saint just died.

And what’s also not unimportant is how famous he was. Was he, just like dillon famous with the general public? Or did he have a slight presence among the saints? I don’t think he was a peak stage saint, if if he was famous.

And last but not least, would you remember haydon if you’ve been alive for 5000 years between him dying and now? I’m pretty sure not, or it would be extremely vague.

So while we can probably guess IET will spruce the story up a bit and make him important, as far as we know it, there’s a very slim chance anyone would actually remember him.

And that friend of his is probably long dead, seeing the fate of the average saint. And the same with those that wanted his soul, unless of course, IET plot point.

          1. well cesar is much older than him and doehring knew him! so those prime saints probably know him too!
as the way it mentioned about his soul he cannot be insignificant character!! and there might be some plot behind that stealing souls too!! (I think)
he had the ability to find out that one of the properties of that unusual ring and also had the power to conseal his soul in to the ring during a battle, means he cannot be some ordinary saint!

          2. Hmm that’s true. And furthermore, since it is a story, it is unlikely he’ll be a minor character.
Though, I disagree about the sealing thing. There’s no explanation on it, nor a definition that only prime saints can do that. It might have just been the case that he, just like linley always does, just tried something as a last ditch thing on the ring he knew nothing about and suddenly it worked.

But yeah, there’ll probably some plot point about soul stealing later on, but perhaps not on this plane of existence.

As for the ring, the only thing he knew was that it allowed him to cast more spells I believe, which is, since he is a mage, hardly praiseworthy.

          3. If I remember right, Doehring claimed he was in the top five of powerful figures in Yulan, and that’s including Beirut and Cathy. It’s hard to say how reliable that claim was, but nonetheless… Still, it looked like he’s never met Beirut, so it’s not clear how much does Beirut know about Doehring either.

I also wondered why Linley doesn’t investigate about Doehring, or if there’s a chance he one day meets the saint who killed grandpa, but I settled with the explanation that Linley doesn’t want to reveal the CD ring to anyone. It’s also true that the huge conflict where the experts from other plains descended happened after Doehring had been sealed, and it looks like most of the saint from his era were killed in that war. Still, Doehring knew Ernst, so Desri might have known Doehring.

          4. @dariel: he might have met beirut, he had a sneaking suspicion in one of the early books that bebe might be related to “That one” in the forest…

          5. That was because he knew that Beirut is fond of rats. Doehring didn’t know that Beirut himself was a rat-type magical beast, though. That doesn’t entirely rule out them meeting, as Beirut’s usually in his human form, but the overall tone of Doehring thoughts when it came to Beirut was indicative of them having no acquaintance.

    1. I went back to book 4 to find out about grandpa doehring’s friend! and in there grandpa said that in his time there was no such thing as four supreme warriors! then that means they came here from a different plane! I wonder if they came at that war 5 thousend yrs ago (one that desri and fain mentioned in 10th floor)
anyways my question is how did they go back? it is said that no one can go back after entering to a different plane! right?!!!

      1. they can go back. it’s just that travel between planes is extremely difficult, not even high gods can simply go back and forth. in ST, for example, multiple experts of the absolute highest level need to cooperate in order to allow just a single lower level expert to pass through.

    2. Rather than friends, I’ve always wondered if/when Linley will encounter the two saints who killed Doehring Cowart. They intended to capture his soul, which he said would be worse than death, but the old man managed to save his soul thanks to the CD ring. If Linley met them, they’d be in for Linley’s Revenge: Part 2.

      1. but grandpa never mentioned their names! and as it seems linley doesn’t have any intention of mentioning grandpa’s name to other old saints, so revenge part 2 is unlikely to happen!

  2. I just thought of something interesting it’s been stated that once a saint reaches a certain level of understanding in their element of choice a divine spark will decend from that elemental plane binding with their soul making them a demigod.

What happens if your a dual element grand magus do you get a second spark when the other element reaches the correct level??? How crazy would that be!

    1. most likely, this is the only thing that makes sense. otherwise a dual mage would essentially get free laws, or get penalized for studying multiple laws. My guess is that every dominion of laws are separate, and even if you use a spark of one dominion, it only penalizes you in regards to training in that set of laws.

IE, linley can use the destruction spark without harming his potential in earth and wind

    2. Well you just have to make divide your soul, one made exclusively for one element.
So you can still achieve level deity mastery in one law but it doesn’t mean it will automatically fill the other laws studied

  3. What happened to Alice? The author kinda just brought her up and left her hanging.

    I guess we’ll know eventually.

I might have said this before, I don’t know, just have that strong sense of deja vu.

(I made it to 124th place!!!)

      1. thats a point, i doubt she would be cultivating much while running the gallery, so shes just a low ranked mage, she would be what, late forties / early fifties by now?

        1. no that bitch is more than fine!(as much as I hate to admit that)
in the earlier parts of this book it is said that ‘she’s an elegant refined beautiful noble women now’
and she was already 4th rank back then so she must at least be 5th or 6th by now! so aging doesn’t count!

  4. Thanks for the chapter, RWX and donors. Super exciting.

I think Delia won’t accept a divine spark, preferring to train together with Linley instead of taking a shortcut to a higher level. Wharton takes the Destruction Style spark, Barker gets the Earthen Style spark, and the Wind Style spark goes to Haeru. See? The three people with the least chance of making the Deity level on their own.

So excited to read what happens next. Too bad about those 9 who couldn’t achieve what they wanted this time.

    1. Nooo! Destruction type should go to Cleo! Without Ni-Lions there would be no way for Linley to get so far in Necropolis! And one of them died, too! Tulily is kinda destruction type too, but he did not do anything at all xD Fain did a lot on 9’th, but there is no spark suitable for him 😛

      1. hmmmm, since the author went out of their way to mention that the lions were destruction style i bet he gives one of them that spark.
For the earth id bet he gives it to one of the undying warrior bros ( maybe barker if hes still alive). and the wind goes to Delia, or maybe Haeru? (depends on how far Delia has progressed, because since she got given that stone her rate of improvement has skyrocketed).

          1. definitely spoiler, even if you are unssure plz remove

dont know if true, so but still, if you think it might be a spoiler, please don’t post it here

          2. yes, you did, and i am grateful for that. Still, in the rs feed you see past the tag, and we are supposed to keep the comment field spoiler free. also, it wasn’t covered (not sure how you make text covered until clicked upon, but it wasn’t done to your comment, and was left in plain view)

          3. To clarify, spoilers in any forms, even with tags, are forbiden here in comment section 😉

  5. title=”History of the yulan continent: the millenia of the dragon blood god.”

and so it came to pass that the radiant and shadow churches already reeling from Apocalypse day were dealt a death blow by the Baruch empire whose mighty prime saint genius linley is venerated throughout the yulan continent.
rumours abound that though he is only a saint his power is already that of a deity and when he chooses to ascend many speculate that he will surpass even the other empire deities.

  6. I am afraid that i will disagree with linley here, dragon form might not make much difference with the damage of each blow, but having a third limb capable of attacking is still huge… not to mention the scale defence…

but then again, he might just mean that the extra physical damage of each blow is negligible in the grand total

    1. This was mentioned earlier. As he progresses, dragonform will start making less of a difference. Right now, it grants only a small powerup. If he encounters an opponent capable of forcing him to transform, chances are it won’t turn the fight in his favor just because he transformed.

      1. i totally buy that the power up from his strength increase will be negligible, but that tail is by far the strongest point of the whole transformation, and will never stop being a mayor power up. It will always increase the amount of blows he is capable of dishing out by a significant degree, and is excellent in grappling enemies that tries to run away…

    2. He probably meant, just in this situation. He has pearl of life and is so fast that even if ambushed, there is no chance for those Demons to kill him at all.

  7. OMG!!!!! I did something I shouldn’t have done!!!!! noooo!!!! all my imaginations are screwed!!! curiosity kills people! I feel like banging my head against the wall so I would forget those horrifying pictures!!!!!!!
“A sever warning to all coilling dragon fans! DO NOT READ THE MANHUA”
    I don’t want to screw your imaginations to,o so I’ll just give you a simple example;
bebe is white and looks like a rabbit!! and alice has cat ears!!!

      1. yeah it’s really screwed up!!! delia is the only one who fits the description!!!
and linley is a bishie!!! (although I like that, it’s just……… he’s too skinny!!!!! even after growing up! and doesn’t have long black hair) noooo! this is too horrifying!!!!!

          1. its better if you let YUZU hold the “misery boze” last… she’ll drink that bottoms up…

          2. no no no pass it on to me first I’ll do anything to forget those…. those……. that’s too terrifying!!!! OMG, I really can’t believe what I saw!!!!
that Cesar, that Clayde and that freaking Fallen leaf!!!!
            Oh shit!!!!!
I never wanted to forget something so badly! not even a horror movie!

          3. You know, seeing this, I’m very glad that when I first opened that pandora’s box I shut it after the first page and never looked at it again.

            *Hands Yuzu her yuzu*

    1. Lol, I did the same mistake you did a month ago yet but fortunately (unfortunately?) due to my forgetfulness and extremely small attention span the memories of reading the manhua adaption completely vanished aside from occasional minute recollections, though tbh I immediately closed the tab once I got to the park where Linley’s father was explaining that the part where his family’s background being that of descendants of a grandmaster sculptor and warrior was a total lie, that’s the only part I read, and went ahead and searched for Linley in his dragonblood warrior form (in the manhua) and the least to say it looked as retarded as hell. He looks like a Porcupineblood warrior rather than Dragonblood warrior. (: / )

      1. I read the manhua from a chinese site and it gives up to….. like…. to apocalypse day!!! this is too horrible! I want to kill the person who drew those pics!!!!

    2. Noooo what have you done! Your soul is gone…forever! Repent my brother! Repent!
Anyway I’ve tried translating myself (by using the mighty powers of Google traslate) and o boy o boy it is a mess! People here are in for surprises:)

    3. Hahaha, o god, poor Yuzu. You seen my numerous posts about not reading Manhwa, right? Now you can only reap what you saw. *Pats Yuzu’s head* You need brainwashing now!

      1. I actually ignored your warning and did check it out saw the supposed Linley and Haeru on page 1 and didn’t bother to continue.

    4. yep the manhua art sucks bigtime, Linley dragonform is too skinny makes me think he is a Earthwormblood Warrior >-<

i was actually imagining Linley on dragonfrom as -Haseo the “Terror of Death”- from .hack GU, try searching if you dont know, it might save your eyes and brain haha >w< oh and i was imagining Bebe as a hamster, Hamtaro! ^w^

      1. my dragon form concept was black frieza 3rd form solid golden eyes with a few strategic spikes thrown in like the weapon 11 girl from x-men

  8. I have very an URGENT question.
As a warrior advances in ranks, they can spend months without eating and stuff.
But when you reach deity level, I think it is fair to assume that you can survive indefinitely without eating right?
    But can they still poop?

      1. According to Bebe, they still fart even after not eating for at least ten years. I guess they all have insights in the laws of matter and energy conversion.

      2. Well that’s maybe why linkey does his “business” alone and doesn’t like to be interrupted.
Although I understand the warm feeling, I do not support this monkey business lol.

    1. probably, but if they don’t eat, they don’t poop, simple as that. And since they only eat for pleasure, then it is fair to say that they only pope because the pleasure it gives them… will stop my train of reasoning here, because further down that line of reasoning there lies a dark and kind of sticky place of the internet…

      1. Then it means they need to flush their insides before meditating….
What if one just had a full course meal, sparred and suddenly get a flash of insight, go to the bathroom, and then forget that insight 😛

      2. inbetweenaction – pooping is a pleasure to you??? I can’t understand that weird mentality of yours!!!
other than a main function of a living life form I can’t see excretion in any other way!!! how can it be way of pleasure??? (even though I’m asking this i really don’t need a answer for this)

dewisa – linley won’t wet his pants idiot! he has a interspatial ring! he has dozens of clothes packed in there!

          1. Yeah kids these days also change their pants because of a “dragonforming” accident

            Overgod of poop loool

    2. Shay T – what a question you have!! (you sure you don’t have any other questions aside from that???) this is a fantacy novel, so just imagine it as they don’t need to poop at all!! If you’re still unsatisfied then don’t go asking too much questions, just imagine a way for yourself!!!!
anyways without eating would they really have to ‘poop’??? in the end it’s really simple!

          1. @yuzu
No… just heard it from someone 😛

actually from TV Show Supernatural, they have cell reception in there XD

          2. @dewise, I told you not to tell anyone! Now everyone will want to come here and it’ll be crowded.

Edit: it still has the ‘post to quickly’ thing though, no escaping that.

  9. @ yuzu on beirut being secret villain :
hmm all three sparks are primarily darkness type can it be that they are formed by Beirut himself and comprise of his own understanding of the various laws itself?
maybe the penalty is because once they accept the spark they must study the part of the path used to form that part and further expound on that path to progress and since he has created them Beirut will naturally understand these insights. lord Beirut is outsourcing his development haha!
or they might indeed be sparks of deities that duked it out 5k years ago and the darkness covering it must be Beirut’s spell that aids in fusing the sparks and leeches the insight of those that accept it.

    1. They aren’t darkness type at all… They are only covered by black thingy… And i doubt it’s any kind of spell… You are trying to dig too hard here, it makes no sense 😉

And i do not think it’s possible to freely create sparks for anyone below Overgod level… And Beirut is for sure not an overgod 😛

And even if you get spark of same element that you practice, that does not mean that it will fit well. It can fit your training path in 10%, 90%, 100%, or not at all. Like Linleys and Haydsons paths of training in Earth element were totally different and had nearly nothing to do with each other. 😉

      1. actually u r sopporting my outsourcing theory all sparks were chosen specifically for Linley but Linley has no darkness experience so why do all 3 have darkness? remember beirut can read st lvl memories but not divine level ones so he knows exactly what is going on with saint level insights so can choose sparks closest to what would naturally descend and I refuse to believed that both earth and wind had darkness mixed in by coincidence.

          1. it isn’t, destruction is one of the 4 highest paths, along the likes of necromansy. darkness is just one of the elemental laws

        1. haha! my apologies, I shall punctuate correctly in future.
considering that divine level beings need not fear dying by the destruction of their bodies, an artifact like the CD ring ( which armours the soul) will be invaluable to them. I wonder if it was what all those deities were fighting over all those years ago?

          1. Remember, Doehring was around before the big battle between high level experts and therefore was in the ring already at the time. What are the odds that the battles were all fights over the ring and it just so happened that not a single person bonded to it in all that time? And it somehow ended up in the dresser of the Baruch clan?

  10. I’m a bit late but

““Lord, this…this warblade was naturally created from my body. It took me hundreds of thousands of (year). This…” The red Abyssal Blade Demon was somewhat unwilling.” -> years
