Book 11, Necropolis of the Gods – Chapter 29, Abyssal Blade Demon

“Haha…” In the air above the island, the experts all began to laugh loudly.

Desri laughed and mocked, “Fain, that Thorium Devil, Louis, possessed a Pearl of Life. He thought you would only be able to injure him at most. Of course he didn’t mind you…but the power of your ultimate attack, a Saint level warrior, actually exceeded forbidden-level spells.”

“Thus, that poor fellow died, just like that.” Tulily began to laugh as well.

The experts were all extremely happy to have killed that Thorium Devil. That meant they could easily enter the tenth floor, which definitely wouldn’t be too dangerous. After dealing with the creatures of the tenth floor, they would be able to quietly prepare to enter the eleventh floor.

Once they succeeded…the divine spark would be theirs!

“With this Pearl of Life, our chances for success on the eleventh floor will have increased.” Fain looked at the Pearl of Life in his hands, delighted. He immediately bound it with blood, and the Pearl of Life absorbed that drop of blood like a sponge, then directly merged with Fain’s body.

Feeling the swirling life energy in his body, Fain felt extremely confident.

“Does everyone want to rest? Or shall we head directly to the tenth floor.” Desri glanced at everyone else.

“No need to rest. The only one injured in our battle with the Thorium Devil was Fain.” Tulily laughed.

Everyone looked at Fain, who laughed and said, “Just then, the injury I sustained was fairly heavy, but I’m already in good shape now. Let’s go. It is just the tenth floor. It won’t be too dangerous.”

In truth, right now, Fain wasn’t in perfect condition.

Although the ‘Pearl of Life’ had already returned his body to peak condition, after executing the ‘Lightning Dragons Descend’ technique, a great deal of spiritual energy had been consumed, which this Pearl of Life could not replenish.

However, Fain didn’t mind. They were only going to the tenth floor, after all.

Before entering the tenth floor, everyone carefully searched the area to see if any other divine artifacts were present. But the result of their search was that…success on the ninth floor’s only reward was this Pearl of Life. To Saint-level combatants, the importance of a Pearl of Life was indeed greater than an ordinary divine artifact’s.

The tenth floor of the Necropolis of the Gods. Eleven experts appeared in the middle of the air of the tenth floor.

“The environment’s not bad.” Linley laughed as he glanced at the surrounding area.

“After dealing with the creatures of the tenth floor, we can have a good rest and make some preparations. Whether or not we’ll be able to get a divine spark will depend on how we perform on the eleventh floor.” Desri chortled.

The group of experts all scanned their surroundings.

This was a beautiful grassland, covered with a boundless sea of green grass, with occasionally a few wild flowers growing in clusters. The clear, fresh air also was quite comfortable to everyone.

“Where are the creatures of the tenth floor?” Rosarie was searching intently.

“Don’t bother searching.” A Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion said. “Let’s go search for the exit to the eleventh floor. Perhaps the creature will be there. Let’s find the exit, then dispose of the creature. Everyone will be able to have a good rest then and prepare for the final battle. Success or failure…it all rides on this.”

The experts all nodded, and then began carefully searching this great grassland.

This grassland actually wasn’t completely flat, and actually had some rolling hills. Those depressions might be hiding a powerful creature, or perhaps the exit. If they didn’t fly close while inspecting, they wouldn’t be able to find it.

“Look.” Bebe cried out in surprise and joy. “There’s a stone pillar up front, and it seems there is an exit beneath the pillar.”

The experts immediately flew over.

The stone pillar was roughly three meters in diameter and twenty meters tall. It seemed very ancient and plain. No one could guess how long it had been there for. It was carved with many mystic runes. Beneath the pillar, there was an entrance to a tunnel, and from the outside, one could see a set of stairs that glowed with a dark aura.

“Right here.” The experts felt their hearts calm down.

Having found this tunnel, if they continued through it, they would arrive at the eleventh floor.

Suddenly, a brilliant light flashed across the grasslands, flying out at high speed. This flash of light charged towards the nearest person, Fain. The eleven experts had never relaxed their vigilance, and upon seeing that flash, everyone knew what it was: The creature on the tenth floor had finally arrived.

“Hrmph.” When this flash of light reached a few meters from Fain, Fain immediately flew backwards like a bolt of lightning.

Fain’s speed was the fastest amongst these eleven experts, with only Desri and Bebe a match for him.

“Clang.” Weapons intersected.

Fain was knocked flying backwards, doing a somersault in mid-air as he landed on the ground. His face was slightly pale, and there was a hint of blood at the corner of his mouth. Only, the ‘Pearl of Life’ in his body activated, almost instantly restoring his body to peak condition.

“What is that?” Linley and the other experts were next to Fain.

The eleven experts all stared at the creature which had suddenly appeared.

This creature’s entire body seemed to reflect its surroundings. Its body was entirely formed from metal, but this metal…seemed to be like steel that had been reforged a hundred times over. Like a sharp blade, it reflected its surroundings like a mirror, except it was slightly more blurry than a mirror.

It was human in shape, two meters tall, completely made out of metal.

On its forehead, there was a single horn that looked like a sharp knife. His shoulders also had sharp knives atop it, and his arms and legs were all sharp blades, and both the front and back sides of his arms had sharpened edges. Without question, a kick of this creature’s legs or a swipe of its arms would be like a broadsword striking down. Even its hands and its fingers were sharp, edged blades.

On its back, there was one blade after another running down its spine as well.

“Its entire body is made of blades. Leg, hand, arm, the top of his head…even his back has a blade.” Bebe sighed in amazement.

“Absolutely a war machine.” Tulily spoke as well.

Fain said in a low voice, “Everyone, be careful. This blade-covered monstrosity is extremely fast, a match for me. When that blade of his chopped down against me, the power of the blow was definitely enough to badly injure us. Linley, most likely even your defense would find it hard to take that blow.”

Everyone understood.

Fain was extremely powerful, but he was still knocked flying by that blade, with a hint of blood appearing in his mouth.

“Although the tenth floor is simple, that’s still only comparison to the sixth through ninth floors.” Linley understood. “Although this monster is powerful, compared to the Queen Mother, the Flame Tyrant, the Beholder King, and the Thorium Devil, it is much weaker.”

Although it seemed like the Thorium Devil had been killed easily, if it weren’t for the fact that Fain had been the perfect counter to it, the Thorium Devil, capable of fusing with the earth, with fire, with water, or with the wind and gain different powers, definitely wasn’t something the likes of Linley were able to destroy.

This monster in front of them seemed fairly powerful.

But in truth, any one of the eleven experts, if going all out, could dispose of it.

“Grrr….” The bladed monstrosity in front of them growled softly, staring death at Linley’s group, but perhaps he could sense that the power of these eleven experts combined was far beyond what he could overcome. Thus, he didn’t dare to attack rashly.

“This is an Abyssal Blade Demon.” One of the Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lions said.

“Abyssal Blade Demon?” Linley and the others all looked at the Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion in confusion.

The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion nodded. “In the countless planes, the Four Higher Planes and the Seven Divine Realms are the most powerful eleven planes. Aside from these eleven dimensions, there are some other unique planes as well, which aren’t weaker than them in power. For example…the Abyss!”

“The Abyssal Plane is reputed to be the most chaotic, anarchic plane in all of the universe, and the plane with the most warfare and slaughter.” The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion sighed.

Linley was secretly surprised as he heard this.

The most chaotic? With the most slaughter? He could completely imagine how terrifying this ‘Abyss’ was.

“Abyssal Blade Demons are one of the creatures which the Abyss has given birth to.” The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion said. “Abyssal Blade Demons, in the Abyss, are the lowest level of life form, much like ants in the Yulan continent. They are extremely weak and powerless.”

Linley and these other experts all maintained their silence.

This Abyssal Blade Demons was no weaker than them.

But in the legendary Abyss, it was the weakest type of creature.

“Generally speaking, only Deities dare to travel to the Abyss from other planes. Saint-level Abyssal Blade Demons naturally are the weakest creatures there.” The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion said. “Abyssal Blade Demons are mostly born for slaughter.”

Linley’s group secretly nodded.

They all saw how the body of this Abyssal Blade Demon in front of them was constructed. Wasn’t it indeed created for slaughter? Every single part of its body could transform into a murderous weapon.

“Abyssal Blade Demons are as fast as lightning, and possess incomparably powerful attacks. Their body, being made from special metals, have quite impressive defense as well. Naturally…if we fight at full strength, we can still kill this Abyssal Blade Demon.” The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion said.

The Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion spoke in quite a casual manner, clearly not worried about this Abyssal Blade Demon in front of them at all.

The Abyssal Blade Demon looked cautiously at the group of experts in front of it, and then…

The Abyssal Blade Demon actually fled. But just as the Abyssal Blade Demon fled, Bebe moved. A flashing light was speeding across the grasslands, with Bebe behind in hot pursuit. The two actually had comparable speed, but then the Abyssal Blade Demon suddenly charged underground.

Bebe excitedly dug into the ground as well.

“It shouldn’t be hard for Bebe to dispose of this Abyssal Blade Demon, given his power.” Linley was still quite confident in Bebe’s abilities.

The Shadowshape Doppelganger Technique alone would guarantee his survival, and in addition, Bebe had definitely received some tutelage while at Beirut’s side.

“The Abyss…” Tulily said in a soft voice. “If in my lifetime, I were to have the chance to experience the Abyss, I would die happy.”

Desri and the others looked at Tulily, chuckling.

“No rush. If we are to leave immediately, we’d still only be able to go to the Four Higher Planes for now.” Desri said. “In addition, I expect that the passage from one plane to another is most likely extremely difficult. I imagine the battles in the Higher Planes would already be enough to satisfy you.”

Tulily nodded slightly.

Desri, Tulily, Linly, and all the others understood.

In their ordinary, material plane, as Saints, they were indeed the most powerful creatures in existence. But upon arriving in the Higher Planes, Saints would be the lowest rung in the ladder, and after them would be the Demigods….who most likely were nothing more than average.

Thus, they held back and were in no rush to go to the Higher Planes.

“Boom!” A massive earthquake erupted underground, causing the ground to split open, creating a massive crevice. The experts all stared down through the massive crevice.

Linley laughed. “The Abyssal Blade Demon died.”

Bebe flew out from within that crevice, dragging with him a metallic corpse that had been ripped in half. It was the Abyssal Blade Demon.

“This Abyssal Blade Demon’s attack truly is powerful.” Bebe sighed in amazement. “Most likely if I had been hit by him, even I would have been injured.”

The experts were all secretly amazed.

Bebe was a Godeater Rat. Although he was still in his growth period, his defense was already extremely, astonishingly high. If even Bebe said such a thing…then one could imagine how powerful the Abyssal Blade Demon’s attack truly was.

“The blades on the back of the Abyssal Blade Demon are fine weapons.” A Six-Eyed Golden Ni-Lion sighed in praise. “The Abyssal Blade Demon’s body naturally generates powerful blades from its essence, but the most powerful blade is the one on its back.”

“Right. That blade is extremely sharp.” Bebe pulled out and tossed that blade to everyone.

This rather beautiful, graceful killing weapon lay there on the ground, and the surrounding grass was actually torn apart, just by the sharp aura emanating from this killing weapon. The sharpness of the weapon was comparable to low level divine artifacts. It truly was incredible.

“Who wants this blade?” Bebe said. “I don’t need it. My claws are fiercer.” Bebe waved his little paws.

Linley and Olivier didn’t say anything. They already had their own weapons. Desri and Rosarie were Grand Magus Saints and didn’t need it either. Fain was a sword expert, not a blade expert. As for the magical beasts…their sharp claws were not suited for holding swords.

Although this blade was very precious and comparable to a weak divine artifact, and could be gifted to family or friends even if one didn’t use it for one’s self, Linley, Fain, Rosarie, and the others who already had acquired a divine artifact wouldn’t take it.

“Haha…” Desri laughed. “Nobody wants it? I don’t have any weapons on me, so I might as well take this blade. I’ve learned a few close combat skills before as well.”

Desri picked up the blade.

      1. i’m actually more surprised that the bar was able to remain red 🙂
which might mean we will get a chapter of dragon king or skyfire lane earlier since ren has somewhat extra time on hands (whichever is fine by me).

        1. Alas, no such luck :P. I only had time now to check my email and do math, since normally during working hours, aside from lunch, I don’t have time to do anything translation related! My full time job keeps me quite busy 🙂 But you’ll get a Skyfire on the weekend for sure!

          1. please do check those e mails frequently! you nearly gave me a heart attack!!! and looking forward to the weekend!! 😀

  1. Thanks Ren and Donators!

“Those depressing might be hiding a powerful creature, or perhaps the exit. ”
    “depressions”, not “depressing”

“that’s still only comparison to the sixth through ninth floors.”
“in comparison” rather than just “comparison”

“Abyssal Blade Demons are one of the creatures with the Abyss has given birth to.”
    “which” rather than “with”

“Their body, being made from special metals, have quite impressive defense as well.”
Subject/verb disagreement between “body” and “have”. “body”->”bodies”?

  2. bebe should have kept the blade (and maybe some of the other bodypart blades as well). it’s a nice plaything for the children, and you need to bring souvenirs to everyone when you go on a trip ^^

  3. Thank you for the chapter gaminfire, dns7950, cc of New Zealand, ML of Texas, ZM of California, M.Y., and AC of Ohio.

Ooh! Soon… soon can they enter the 11th floor… Gueuguhuhuhu

  4. Those depressing might be hiding a powerful creature, or perhaps the exit.

    Ren depressing should be depression

Those depression might be hiding a powerful creature, or perhaps the exit.

    1. “Abyssal Blade Demons are one of the creatures with the Abyss has given birth to.”

      Ren with should be which

“Abyssal Blade Demons are one of the creatures which the Abyss has given birth to.”

    1. In which case Linley will prob get it since everyone is afraid of what could happen if the offend Bebe and the Lions are grateful to Linley for releasing them

          1. ah true O_o man his family gunna be next to immortal, all but nina lol. kinda sucks for her lol

          2. Well Delia should have been training in the chamber(one in the mine) for ten years Linley has been in Necropolis. She will be peak Saint level, but i doubt she can became deity level on her own just because she needs a lot of understandings of the Laws. We know Linley was making many breakthroughs in the Laws and most were after his fights. I doubt Delia was fighting any1(except maybe the Church and the Cult ). And Linley said that he will give his divine spark to Delia.

          3. I think Delia will have a hard time after reaching saint level, since she didn’t gain it by herself (with help of that black rock)
remember what war god said, that if you gain deity level by the help of a spark then you’d probably have a hard time training to reach the next.
I think same logic goes to Delia who reach (probably reached already) saint level by that rock!! if so she possibly can not reach deity level in her life time (since she has next to none understandings in laws)
so the point is she definitely require a spark and Linley have to get it for her!!
and who knows if he’ll have a another go before thousands of yrs passes, so he definitely have get one this time!!!

          4. I think that the “item” she received from Bebe only help her to increase her affinity toward nature and to absorb spiritual energy without effort.

From there, she would need to walk the path of the laws like everybody else…

          5. Delia can only enter the training room if Linley covered her with Pulseguard ‘armor’
I don’t know if Zassler or the others can do the same feat as Linley

          6. It said barker could walk into it just fine. Not sure about the rest. Though I have a feeling somehow lindey will become a diety in the necropolis because you need to at least be a deity to go to the 12th floor and there at total of 18 floors and he said something was calling to him.

          7. Even if other Brothers did reach Saint level in human form, they do not have means of covering someone else like Linley can…

    2. I think most of them will not even want to take it…

Linley and Bebe can reach Diety level themselves, they will not take it. I think Linley respects other experts too much to take it not for himself, but for his family… Especially after thier last experiences 😉

Desri? He can reach Diety level just fine. He might only need it for his friends/family.

      Fain? Only for his co-disciples.

Olivier? Maye for his younger bro, don’t think he would use it himself…

Tulily? Dunno, we don’t know enough about Destruction path to know if he has, or has not possiblity of reaching Diety level himself…

Rosarie? She can reach Diety by herself. We don’t know about if her family/friends are alive or not.

Ni-Lions and Scorpion? They might want it, as reaching Diety level just by insight seems to be close to impossible for them.

      1. the different peak saints might want it, it may still take them a few more milenia to reach divinity by themselves.

Oliver probably would want it, the massive power up strikes me as the kind of thing he would like. not everyone has linleys “i already know how to take all the steps” insight.

But yeah, the beasts are the ones with the most to gain from getting a spark

      2. Actually, you might be mistaken here. With the exception of linley and bebe everyone else has been at the peak stage for a long time. Remember the war god? He himself was a peak stage such as desri and he still took the divine spark.

True, they would reach the deity level at some point but the only people I see reaching it anytime soon without external help would be linley and bebe since their level is just so fast. And and we can’t forget our antagonist Olivier who needs to keep peddling behind linley to give him a challenge.

And we’ll probably get quite a few deaths on floor eleven. That, or there would only be one divine spark and who knows what’ll happen then.

          1. They know it not always safe in the Yulan Plane though.

5k years ago, many other experts came to the plane, possibly demigods as well.

Whos to say that won’t happen again?

          2. Well, if they didn’t feel like rushing, why did they enter this deathtrap then? Surely, not fearing danger doesn’t cut it. They knew how dangerous it was yet they longed for the power. So either they have no patience (which is odd as they have been training for who knows how long), they are incredibly stupid or they feel the limits of their training. And with limits I don’t mean they won’t reach it, I mean it’ll just take a long time. Then again, it’s not like linley is the brightest bulb in the crowd either (no matter the insights he gets)

          3. Dunno, greed for artifacts? Or are they really scared of another descend of experts sometime soon? Or they just feel that it’s impossible to them to reach Diety level without spart, as you said… Dunno. As far as decisionmaking, all of those Saints seem to be fairly stupid. Linley included, heh.

          4. I certainly cannot deny that. After all, the only thought circuit they have is “train – fight – revenge” on an endless loop.

    3. lol who said there is only one divine sparks, it called Necropolis of the Gods for a reason, i think there is alot of divine spark on floor 11, im dying to find out why and who make the Necropolis of the Gods. i bet you it have some thing to do with the coiling ring or a least the dragon blood warrior.

      1. Ren did not hide ‘next floor’ titles to far, so it’s either Grand Magus breakthrough or some kind of massacre described in title. ‘Experts dropping like flies’ or something like it 😀

          1. Even if he survived, he did not get into 4’th floor – Linley waited for him. At most he waited in 2’nd floor, if, of course, he did not die to plants that are his weakness… I truly hope that he will not appear in this arc anymore. Honestly, he would be a useless baggage at 11’th floor. Also, 8’th floor was not cleared, it was ran past. Barker would die there no matter if he did progress in his Laws or not. This monster is too much for our 11 experts, how could Barker deal with it alone?

          2. yeah it going to be easy for him to get to were linley is cause the group already clear out all the boss in each floor thought except for the deity dragon( which i doubt barker will pass it )

          3. It was not dragon and it was not Diety. 😛 Go to sleep, you are tired xD Ohh, you mean Ba-Serpent? Forget him, as he might have gone to sleep again. Problem would be monster from 8’th floor, this eye-bastard 😛

  5. The way IET was really pounding it in that “it’s only the tenth floor after all, so they weren’t cautious at all” really had me feeling the foreshadowing. But then nothing actually happened. Damn you I Eat Tomatooooeees!

  6. Didn’t Linley say that he needed to cut down the waves to one and once it reached one than it was stated that it would mean that he became a deity. He is already at 64 waves, it took him eight years for it to come from 128 to 64. So it shouldn’t take more than twenty years for him to reach Deity level. And after reading the last few chapters where Linley kept saying,”Somethings calling me”. I feel like he will either receive a huge revelation about the secrets of the Yulan continent or How the Four Supreme warriors came into existence or he might just get a huge power up. As for Divine sparks on the eleventh floor? Well Why Limit yourself to only the eleventh floor? Maybe Linley will reach the eighteenth? Well we can only find out.

    1. Probably some artifact or monster to save and gain a pet?

      20 years? Not happening. 256 to 128 took 1 year. 128 to 64 took 8. 64 to 32 should take around 40-50 years… 32 to 16 around 300… 16 to 8 around 1500… 8 to 4 around 8000… 4 to 2 around 40 000…. 2 to 1 around 200 000. Math is surprising here, huh? We need something to happen, unless we will see 250 000 years time skip, LOL.

PS: It was said that only Diety level combatants can hope to stay alive at floors from 12 to 18 😉

PPS: Ok, now i understand too, why people would want to get divine spark. 250 000 years is a BIT too long, even for immortal, LOL.

      1. Well Linleys Break Through’s are quite abnormal. And come on, those numbers are ridiculous! The process to get to two waves shouldn’t take that long, the bottle neck which is from two to one will maybe. He knows what he exactly needs to do, he simply has no more insights left on this throbbing pulses of the earth, all he needs to do now is to add those waves over and over, its like folding something over and over at first its easy but as you keep going it gets harder and harder, but with the help of that room the time should be dramatically reduced. And you know to create your own spark will be much more better than taking divine sparks of other people, this method is half-assed. Many saints cant break through but our main character most certainly will Break Through. And 200000 years? I beilve almost every deity didn’t take that long.Ceaser only took at most 7-10 thousand years.I remember when Grandpa Dohering(? forgot his name) said that if he lived for 5,000 years more he would have broken through. But for our genius and supppppppper LUCKY mc it shouldn’t take that long. I expect by the end of this volume he should break through if not the next volume.

      2. Actually its 256 to 128 in 1 year accelerated by Pocket Dimension Room
128 to 64 in 8 year (normal pace)

When he goes back and do accelerated training within Pocket Dimension Room, 64 to 32 should be faster than 8 years

Actually there is no guarantee that Linley will reach Deity level when he succeed compressing all the waves. It’s merely the end of path of Throbbing Pulse of the Earth. And knowing Linley, he’ll also train Slow and Fast aspect of the wind until it become a full circle, fast is slow and slow is fast.

          1. I just assumed that it was, it would be strange for Linley to do next step in only 8 years, he did say it was 10 times harder now, right? ~~

          1. It was said as per Linley’s thought, assumption. Getting to 1 wave might be only peak of Saint, and he would need to gain another insight for Divine Spark to descend upon him 😉

          2. The power of the current 128 waves, compared to the original 128 layered waves, was untold times more powerful. After all, the current 128 waves embodied all of the profundities of the Throbbing Pulse of the World. But if one was able to fuse them all into a single wave which contained all of the profundities, then the power of that attack…

            That would be the Deity-level.
This is copy and paste from the book
            – Book 11 Chapter 6

          3. Sigh. Just because something is said before, it’s not like it must be absolute and true. This is not work from 300 or 600 years ago, where narrator was all knowing and allways right. This is IET’s work, and is above it. For simplicity, Haydson has been described as most powerfull saint of Yulan continent quite a few times, right? But was he truly so? 😉

          4. Well I get where your coming from but in terms of Linley understanding the laws the narrator is always spot on.

The Example about Haydson, I agree is just like ST someone stronger appears out of nowhere, but then someone even more powerful does and so on(Dacheng-Immortal–Golden—Mystic). But don’t confuse the predictions of the upcoming power-ups and the statement of who is the strongest. The narrator is always wrong when “who is the strongest” is mentioned, but its never wrong in terms of power-ups

          5. Well, there were no such ocassions yet, right? Linley basically rushed past barrier to Saint level with ease, and his Magus development was smooth too. It would be anticlimatic for him to easly get to Diety level just by getting to 1-wave. It seems lacking for me 😉

          6. Well it actually isn’t anti-climatic…..I don’t think you know but he was a peak stage saint for over ten years. Ever since his first battle with Osenno(when him and Bebe manged to drive him away) till he captured those three saint-level dragon beast’s recently.. so yeah he was a peak stage saint for quite a while and making it to deity now is the ripe time. And the understanding of the waves makes legit sense.

          7. I have rather good memory, so if you want to point something out in a way ‘if you knew’, then at least do it correctly. In terms of power he was Peak Stage Saint for last 15 years, since he broke through to Saint level. His power was already at Peak Stage. But this Peak is quite wide, as we can see. Additionally his battle-qi reached it’s peak only in training at 5’th floor. Above that, i wonder what things you point out have anything to do with it being climatic enough or not. I expect something more from IET, more than “he finnaly reached 1-wave and BOM divine spark descended upon him” thing…

          8. Hey, wanna hear a proposition? I did not think about one possiblity – making final breakthrough from 2 to 1 nearly impossible and making ‘scene’ out of it. Duh, well, if you suggested it, it would convince me ~~ Heh. Kay, let’s call it an end, i don’t want to miss new chapter 😀 Hope we can discuss something in later chapters, too. Always pleasure for me to do it, hueh.

          9. Well sorry if you’re offended not doubting your memory or anything just trying to point it out. Anyway it really wouldn’t be to boring for him to advance here from Saint to Deity, I agree with you on the fact that the peak is wide (from Haydson level—Supreme Saints) , but the Deity level is even wider just entering the realm of Deity is quite hard, but IET isn’t trying to drag it out any further, I mean come on I’m sure you remember how each level of deity ( Demigod-God-Highgod) has different percentages to master (1-10 percent is demi(?) i think and so on), but in his case he would just enter the deity realm upon completing the one wave not necessarily be super strong (well in the Yulan continent he would, but in other planes he would just be your everyday joe). So overall it makes sense for him to reach the Deity level by now.

          10. All i was saying that IET should really add some unforeseen HYPE to this breakthrough, not just make it casual effect of long training ;p

          11. I agree with you, Yea i think he will,, maybe a life and death situation?..where the enemy is closing up on him and boom! then linley says to the disintegrated enemy”F*** off!” ..Yep its going to need hype otherwise his hard work would be blown off and it frankly would be boring.

          12. He will probably not do it in-fight. In-fight power ups are Japanese style, and it migrated to EU and America. IET never did power up during fight so far, so i doubt he will do it now 😉

          13. Yea he doesn’t use it, well I’ve seen him do it once, but its irrelevant to this story (happened in his latest work Age of Desolation), but anyway’s the next chapter sure is late today (NOT complaining,, I was just saying) lol. But yea I guess some hype is bound to happen when he power ups though.

  7. I refreshed just now a couple of times when i read the later chapters again. The feeling of happiness when you see the red bar become a green bar. Specially when im unable to donate and can only support it with turning off adblock.

  8. I can’t seem to get the Subscription button at the top to work 🙁

When I click on it I only get a small black box with an X that allows me to close it. I cleared my cookies and cache but no change. What should I do?

  9. “If we are to leave immediately, we’d still only be able to go to the Four Higher Planes for now.”
Mistake found, the way this is written it sounds like they are intending to leave immediately. To avoid this change it to: “If we were to leave” etc. Thx for all your work 😀

  10. “Right. That blade is extremely sharp.” Bebe pulled out and tossed that blade to everyone.
Tossing the blade to everyone is basically impossible because there is several people in the group and there is only one blade that Bebe pulled out. ‘Tossing that blade to someone’ make sense and also ‘tossing that blade to front of everyone’ works, too, something like that.

  11. They should have noticed the similarities… at the 5th floor they fought some magma demons – then 6th floor had several thousands of them.

What if the 11th floor is the same and have the same ridiculous amount of Abyss Blade Demons?
