Bedbug Problems This Weekend

Hey guys, just FYI about something; I’ve been getting the CRAP bitten out of me for about two or three weeks now, and I was pretty sure it was bedbugs, but the corporate housing type place I’m staying in kept insisting that no, they sent specialists and they couldn’t find them. Well, today, after being bitten all over for weeks, I finally caught one of the little buggers and personally took it to the front desk, who is no longer able to deny things. That means that they are going to be moving me (temporarily?) to a new place as well as fumigating/spraying the old place.

That means this weekend is going to be kinda weird for me. I’m not 100% sure how things are going to work out or what my schedule is going to be like. I will do my best to try and get at least two CD chapters each day out for you guys this weekend, but to be honest, I’m not 100% on what my schedule is like. I promise I will try my best, ok?

Today’s chapter will come out like normal though! Cheers.

  1. Holy crap. Bedbugs? Those sound nasty. Anything that makes you itchy and disrupts your sleep deserves to have Linley destroy their soul and scatter their body around the Yulan continent.

    1. bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites bites

      1. hmmm….bugs huh?!……
well no advices from me, I never had bug issues … um errr… apart from flying ones
aaanyway hope you’ll be able solve it soon and….. no nevermind!

…….in any case this guy above is crazy or what?!

  2. 10/10 quality living location. It seems they care soo much about being sure their customers are satisfied! Best of luck man… I know what it’s like being a bug magnet. At worst I’ve had upwards of 10-15 mosquito bites on my legs even with repellent, and the itching is ungodly. Do what you must, because you can.

  3. I hope they handle it quickly for you! When my wife and I were dating, her dorm (old house in downtown Charleston sc) developed bedbugs. They constantly tried to blame her bugbites on her visits to my house. They’ll do anything to deny it until you shove it in their faces!

  4. Bedbugs are horrible. Take your time and make sure you get rid of them thoroughly, and continue to check every week, since they never seem to go away for more than 3 months at a time.

  5. From Wikipedia:
Eradication of bed bugs frequently requires a combination of nonpesticide approaches and the occasional use of pesticides.[8][11]

Mechanical approaches, such as vacuuming up the insects and heat treating or wrapping mattresses, are effective.[8][22] A combination of heat and drying treatments is most effective. An hour at a temperature of 45 °C (113 °F) or over, or two hours at less than −17 °C (1 °F) kills them;[22] a domestic clothes drier or steam kills bedbugs.[23] Starving them is difficult as they can survive without eating for 100 to 300 days, depending on temperature.[22] For public health reasons, individuals are encouraged to call a professional pest control service to eradicate bed bugs in a home, rather than attempting to do it themselves, particularly if they live in a multi-family building.[24]

As of 2012 there were no truly effective pesticides available.[22] Pesticides that have historically been found effective include pyrethroids, dichlorvos and malathion.[11] Resistance to pesticides has increased significantly over time, and harm to health from their use is of concern.[8]

    1. Can’t you at least suggest fusing it with the Profound Truths of Water and using steam to deal with it so he won’t burn down his house?

  6. See Ren, if you listen to comments, it seems that you need to shave bald and burn your house. Lmao… 😀

Yeah i know it’s serious matter with those bugs and it’s super annoying for you, but i just needed to crack this stupid joke 😛

  7. Kill them and absorb their souls into your Coiling Dragon Ring, Ren!!

Millions of delicious tiny bedbug souls!

But seriously, that’s gross and I feel sorry for you D:

  8. I actually just got rid of a bed bug infestation. They weren’t bothering me, but they were eating my roommate alive. We bought a light weight steamer and ran it over all the furniture, carpet, and beds. The clothes went into the industrial dryer that we have at my complex. Only took a few days, and that was only because of all the furniture we had to move to get to the carpet underneath.

My roommate actually cussed at me a bit because he was covered in bites, and I was left alone 🙂 Mosquitoes and apparently bed bugs do not like my blood, lol.

      1. That is a lot… Maybe you SHOULD go with the ‘burn down the apartment’ approach.
Nah. My roommate was waking up with 5-10 or so. So our infestation may not have been as bad as yours. I’m very glad that bugs dislike my blood, though 😛

  9. ATTENTION CA MEMBERS
now that our Landlord is having bug issues he is out of his house for a while and coming over to ours (well actually this is his too but we’re renting it so..)
so everyone clean this house for onece…*sigh*
*mutter* that damn housekeeper Black gone for a vacation, house is in a total mess… *sigh*

Kids(including me) Landlord won’t be giving you sweets for a while… so bear with it, AND DON’T GO CRYING, IT’S ANNOYING!!! (including me)

*secretly sobbing in the corner* no sweets! waaaah! *sob* *sob*

  10. Bedbugs really suck, you have my sympathies – and be very careful about the items you’re moving over, accidentally moving over a few bugs/eggs would be terrible.

    – Wipe off computer tables etc. in the edges & corners
    – Baggage/packages with extra clothes etc., that you won’t be unpacking or using soon, should be wiped from outside (and esp. under plastic handles etc., basically hard-to-reach corners & edges)
    – Probably have to throw out mattress for sure 🙁
    – For atleast couple of months, don’t mix washed clothes you’re using with older ones that are just sitting around – that way, any bugs/eggs in the older clothes can die instead of getting disturbed & moving into those you use regularly
    – Don’t forget to clean inside your desktop case if you use that, maybe use blow dryer on laptop vents if you suspect any ninja bugs hiding

    Good night
    Sleep tight
Don’t let the bedbugs bite 😀

  11. As far as I’m aware bed bugs don’t usually lay eggs inside humans, but I wouldn’t see why they couldn’t craw into your nose and ears and lay them and have a feast.

you should wear earplugs for the time being.

  12. Well for ppl with black/ darker skin no worries it will not bite you according to my experience with bedbug for 5 month even in 1 room filled with bedbugs and there is more than 3 ppl inside the most bitten will be the one with white skin (not necessarily white as long as it is more white than the other two) these bedbugs is like ninjas when they bite you and its itchy then they’re gone

    1. Bedbugs don’t give a shit, they’re not humanitarians; if they see skin, they bite. They don’t care what colour your skin is mate. You have your experience I have mine, they bit the shit out of my ass and I’m black brother. If you can see them during the day, then you know there’s a big infestation, if not then it’s not overly too bad because they get enough to feed and lay eggs, if they’re out during the day then you know there’s so much that this one had to come out during the day just to get some blood.

  13. I suggest leaving the material plane and going to a higher realm ASAP. I hear they have better conditions over at the Life Realm, including 9000+ star hotels.

  14. Holy smokes Ren How are you even sleeping?! I remember I lived with my ex girl and her room-mate downstairs got bedbugs, next thing we got it upstairs. You’re afraid to sleep because you just know those things are gonna come for you. I left her ass and went back to my mother’s because i couldn’t get a goodnight sleep.

She didn’t want to give up the place because it was cheap rent but I wasn’t going to let her come to my place and risk them coming there. So I had to knock that relationship on the head. My sanity more than punany any day. Still though man, hopefully they get them all because those things are hard to get rid of.

  15. Bedbugs are terrible. Unless they tear the room completely apart (as in removing baseboards, replacing carpet, etc) then they’ll still be there.

They can easily be transferred but heat can kill them so be sure to run your clothes and bedding through a dryer on high.

Aside from that, all I can really say is good luck!

  16. sorry to hear that ren. I had bedbugs in college for like maybe 6 months ish. it really is a hellish way of sleep. What helped for me as they were trying to get rid of them in my room, I always threw my sheets blankets and everything at least through the dryer. they come back on soon, but it does help a bit for sleep

  17. Lol HighGod ,bedbugs…

I have a feeling what that silver haired guy is going to ask linley is probably to come to some feast where the fiend is….and I bet he’ll ask him to bring Delia.
