WMW Author’s Afterword

Previous ChapterCity of Sin

It’s already been a year since last April, and Warlock of the Magus World is finally complete. I’m finally off the pressure of that terrifying release rate, and at the same time I haven’t let down the expectations of the readers; it’s a cause for celebration.

Honestly, this book has achieved far beyond my expectations; we were first in the fantasy ranking last year! This is something only possible because of all the subscriptions, monthly votes, and recommendations; a glory solely belonging to the collective group of readers that have supported me. A thousand thank yous to all of you, and a deep bow!

Thank you to all the friends who’ve subscribed to this novel. Without you, WMW wouldn’t be where it is today. In specific thank you to the three sect masters Lanxi, [email protected] and Empty Mountain New Rain 2015, especially Lanxi for the support of a million fan points. My salute to you!

Thank you also to Myfault, *GGQ*, Silent Seas, Fate is Always Beside Me, Summer Tree⑨, Ultimate Treasure, and Quietly Gently Hehe, thank you for your support and encouragement! There are many others I wish to name for their contributions, but unfortunately, there is a limit to the number of words I have. I regret not being able to list you all.

Thank you to Big Yinyang, Skilful Fishing, Trickling Meander, as well as Single-Horned Sea Cucumber, whose suggestions were extremely incisive. The wealth of information gave me a lot of inspiration.

Finally, I thank the readers of the novel. Your views, recommendations, bookmarking, and subscriptions motivated me through all of this. Thank you!

My knowledge is limited and my writing unskilled; there were times when things were inappropriate and poorly constructed, as well as many other inadequacies in general. I’m extremely sorry for all of it, and thankful for your understanding and forgiveness of those parts.

Lastly, let us meet at my new book, Semi Martial Artist Hero! It’s the legend of a martial artist of infinity, and I look forward to your participation in its writing. Here’s to more recommendations, clicks, and bookmarks O(∩_∩)O~!

  1. Thanks for the novel. I enjoyed it very much with few complaints about character choices being too blatantly stupid. Though I admit to a lot of disappointment from his portrayal of the forgotten realms setting.

    1. Me neither. I’ve book-marked City of Sin already but won’t be jumping on that train until 50 to 70 chapters are out. I couldn’t find anything about Semi Martial Artist Hero however. Is it a another translation project, a fanfiction, or his own story he’s publishing? Really curious.

  2. I wish to thank the translators first. I also wish to thank the authors of “The Wizard World” and “Night Ranger”, whose ideas, work and novels were shamelessly plagiarised and stollen by the alleged author of ” Warlock of the Magus World “. Said author whose pen name is the Plagiarist. I enjoyed the story and the ride, but I wanted to give a thought for those who were the main contributors behind this novel that I loved reading. Thanks again and see you on the next one!

  3. Usually i dislike open-ending stories, such as Galactic Dark Net for example which will forever haunt me…

    This ending however feels… deserved… rewarding… perfect!

Leylin’s adventure always seemed to take him farther and farther than anything we could imagine when the story first started.

I mean, he started from taking over a guy who died miserably due to bad conduct and being a third rate student in an infamous magic academy.

Now he’s the embodiment of every sin and evil in the multiverse across space-time.

    Time flies, huh?

  4. Thank you for everything…thanks to Oma & team…it was a great reading experience…look forward to your future projects…best of luck

  5. I left at 1100 to binge read at the end feelssogoodman….I enjoyed it very much though felt quite rushed by the end and that useless Doron arc was not quite what i wanted. But the end left me quite happy will definitely read CoS. Good Luck team OMA and Great work.

  6. Thanks to the author, translation team for their hardwork, sponsors for their support and other readers for making the comments memorable, lastly thanks to wuxiaworld for being able to bring readers together.
