In front of the airport’s entrance, a soldier in uniform was waiting for Woojin.

“Uh? Hey, Haesol.”

Woojin was glad to see a familiar face, so he waved.

Haesol bowed, “You’ve arrived?”

Woojin pointed at Minchan, “Please greet him for me. This man is our guild’s general director.”

Minchan was quick to stick out his hand, “My name is Jung Minchan.”

Haesol clasped his hand for a quick shake, “I’m Lieutenant Choi Haesol. In the near future, we will be eating from the same pot of rice.”

Minchan tilted his head in confusion as he shook her hand. 

Woojin grinned, “She’s the new recruit I chose.”

“Ah….”

Lieutenant Choi Haesol was the new recruit he was talking about last time.

Woojin looked at Haesol, “I thought I told you to apply for discharge from service. Why are you here?”

Haesol replied, “I’ll be a civilian around the time president returns. Until then, I’m still a solider, and I have to faithfully do my job.”

Woojin asked, “What? Don’t you have any vacation time?”

Haesol let out an awkward laugh. She didn’t know how he could make such a silly joke in situations like this.

She cleared her throat, “I’m sure you’ve heard about the intel. We were tipped off to a potential terrorist attack.”

Woojin nodded, “I know. So, will I be able to go to the U.S.?”
